NEW YORK—Former Columbia football player Javier Loya was honored by the Ivy Football Association at its bi-annual dinner held Thursday evening at The Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel. Loya, along with representatives of the seven other Ivy League schools were honored by the organization as distinguished graduates.
Loya graduated from Columbia University in 1991. While at Columbia, he lettered in all three of his varsity seasons while playing defensive end and outside linebacker. Today, he is Chairman and CEO of commodities broker OTC Global Holdings (OTCGH), a company he co-founded in 2007, which has become the largest independent interdealer brokerage in the world.
